Investigation of Gut-Liver-Brain Axis in severe obese patients undergoing bariatric surgery(~n=150) with extensive characterization of tissue biopsies and systems biology.
Extensive neuroimaging (MRI), cognition tests, plasma and microbiota analysis over time (pre-operation, hospitalization and post-operation).
